Brandon meets Samantha

First things first, there are two things I am not. One, someone who has excelled in English and two, an experienced blogger. So bear with me as I try and share some of our experiences and interests with all of you.

I wanted to start with a post on the very first time I "made a move" for the beautiful Samantha. I'm not sure who I have actually shared this with, but it is funny and kind of interesting.

We both were living in Old Farm, an apartment complex, and going to College at Utah State. I had been in Logan for maybe two weeks when I noticed a cute girl walking around Old Farm. Sami was always with her cousin so I thought that I could get one of my roommates to go with me to her apartment to "get to know" them. I needed my wing man, Maverick was on the move. Well one day my roommate/Goose and I (Maverick) were walking up to campus to go to the gym and I saw Sami and her cousin crossing the road in front of us! They also were going to gym! Perfect, now I could make my move. So I told my roommate that we should catch up to them and see if we could talk with them and set up something.

Keep in mind I have not even said hi to Sami prior to this moment. Well, we were just behind them so I needed to do something to get her attention and for some reason saying hello was not good enough for me at the time! So putting all of my charisma, charm and McGary manliness together I decided on the best move I had. I should kick her foot and get her attention. For some odd reason it seemed great at the time. Looking back I have no idea why I thought that that was a good idea.

Well I made my move I charismaticaly kicked her delicate (and lovely) foot and let me tell you, the sparks flew imediately. That is to say something flew imediately, unfortinately it wasn't sparks. It was my future wife! I had kicked her foot and caused her to tangle her feet and trip! After gaining her balance she turned around with a very puzzled and confused look on her face. Only to see a now not so confident face, but a scared and embarassed face.

That right, before I had even said hello I tripped Samantha. I guess I had been going about it all wrong with being nice and saying hello or cracking a joke. All I needed to do was make her fall for me!
